Well it's 2009 2010 and I am ready to officially announce the status and future of everything Batman and Gully Fam related. There will be tons of suprises to be on the look out for this year. I will try to break down as much information as I possibily can while still trying to keep everything orgranized, readable and just from feeling as if you've been hit with an homework assignment. BATMAN DANIEL MONTGOMERY Ok, first up on the menu. Everyone may still feel free to and actually should refer to me as Batman BUT due to legal reasons (I don't want DC sueing the shit out of me and shutting down any projects) I will not be able to use my rap name Batman on the album listings (covers, tracklist, i-tunes and other music services, and etc.) so in place of Batman I will be using my goverment name, Daniel Montgomery. I will still use the name in the actual music and will also use it in written form on free items for promotional use only. (such as mixtapes, free songs, free EPs, etc.) Higher & Inspired The free mixtape that was to be released in preperation for "Music You Can Eat Cereal To" has been officially canceled. Don't worry too much though as the tracks are still being recorded (and the ones recorded are being mixed) and will drop every now and then in the following weeks to promote and prepare everyone for "Music You Can Eat Cereal To". Music You Can Eat Cereal To Has been pushed back (yes, again!) to 01.30.09. Material is still being recorded and recorded material is still being mixed and mastered. And due to all the push backs and bullshit combined with releasing it through I-tunes (it would mean a release date at least 6-8 weeks after I submit it) we are releasing it strictly ourselves through our websites and blogs, our label Gully Fam Records, and Bandcamp.com. We are also offering the entire album streaming for completely free no strings attached! And get this...We are offering the album in full high quality MP3 format downloads for absoultely free provided you submit your e-mail address to be added to the mailing list. That's it. You read it right.... New E-Book in the works! In the creation process of "Music You Can Eat Cereal To" I was writing an book. It featured detailed stories of my life from the past fives years and how they relate to the lyrics. Also included are the lyrics themselves and insight to what certain lines truly mean as well as just insight to the creative process of the entire album. There's no set format in the book though, the best way I can describe it is as a "unorganized memoir". Downloads of the new E-Book were going to be sold and packaged with the release of "Music You Can Eat Cereal To", now they will all be included in your free download of "Music You Eat Cereal To" upon providing a valid email address.
